This replacement part is a control board for washers. The control board is the main computer that sends signals to the washer to perform its essential functions. Over time a control board can become inoperable after excessive use. If the washer is no longer turning on, spinning, rinsing or draining properly, this could mean that the control board needs to be replaced. Luckily this is not a difficult by shutting off all power to the appliance. Remove the upper back panel and locate the old control board. Pull it out of its mounted position and take note of the orientation of the wires attached to the old board.
