The Skuttle 90-SH1 is a stainless steel 6″ drum type humidifier. The Skuttle 90-SH1 features a rotating evaporator pad that takes water from a water pan and forces it into the air stream. This is then warmed and pushed out of the humidifier through the furnace blower. The Skuttle drum humidifier does not use a lot of water or electricity, so it will not increase your bill. The Skuttle drum humidifier is easy to clean and repair. The stainless steel humidifier should be cleaned at the end of each humidifying season to prevent mineral buildup.
