The Kohler 77688-NA Aquifer Replacement Filter Cartridge 2-Pack is to be used with the Kohler K-77685 or K-77686 Under Counter Water Filtration System. These eco-friendly coconut shell based carbon filters effectively reducecontaminants including lead, mercury, chlorine, and pharmaceuticals in your cold water. While many other water filtration systems use coal-based media filters, the Aquifer filter uses ground-up coconut shells, making it more eco-friendly. When installling, the filter head automatically turns off the water supply when the cartridge is removed to avoid unwanted water underneath your sink.
