Description

The Pentek PD-1-30, 155762-43, 30″ Sediment Filter 1 Micron is mainly used to remove silt, sand, or other particulates from water. This Pentek sediment filter does not contain any activated carbon, and therefore does not remove chlorine or improve the taste or odor of water. This Pentek Polydepth filter is constructed with a rigid core which provides increased collapse strength and durability. This Polydepth cartridge also contains micro grooves, which have increased surface area to trap more dirt. Like all Pentek Polydepth filters, this Polydepth series filter is made from thermally bonded polypopylene, for increased filter life and resistance to becoming brittle like other filters. The high temperature rating allows for hot water applications.
